Team Members

Learn how to invite collaborators and manage your project team.

Viewing Team Members

  1. 1.Go to your project
  2. 2.Click the Settings tab
  3. 3.Select the Members section

You'll see all current members with their roles and join dates.

Inviting Members

Existing Cyrus365 Users

  1. 1.Click "Invite Member"
  2. 2.Enter their email address
  3. 3.Select a role (Admin, Member, or Viewer)
  4. 4.Click "Send Invitation"

They'll be added immediately and can access the project right away.

New Users

  1. 1.Click "Invite Member"
  2. 2.Enter their email address
  3. 3.Select a role
  4. 4.Click "Send Invitation"

They'll receive a magic link to:

  1. 1.Create a Cyrus365 account
  2. 2.Automatically join your project with the assigned role

Member Roles

OwnerFull access, can delete project
AdminManage settings, members, groups, sprints, and tasks
MemberCreate and manage tasks only
ViewerRead-only access
External ViewerRead-only for external stakeholders

Changing Member Roles

Only Owners and Admins can change roles:

  1. 1.Find the member in the list
  2. 2.Click the role dropdown
  3. 3.Select the new role
  4. 4.Changes save automatically

Removing Members

  1. 1.Find the member in the list
  2. 2.Click the remove icon (X or trash)
  3. 3.Confirm removal
Note: You cannot remove the project Owner.

Tips

  • Start with Viewer for stakeholders who just need visibility
  • Use Member for team members who work on tasks
  • Limit Admins to those who need to manage structure
  • One Owner per project (transfer ownership if needed)
