Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with Cyrus365 Projects in just 5 minutes.

Step 1: Create Your First Project

  1. 1.Click "New Project" in the Projects Hub
  2. 2.Enter a project name
  3. 3.Choose an icon to identify your project
  4. 4.Add an optional description
  5. 5.Set start and end dates if needed
  6. 6.Click "Create Project"

Step 2: Understand the Project Layout

Step 3: Set Up Task Groups

Groups are columns on your board representing workflow stages:

  • Backlog — Tasks waiting to be started
  • In Progress — Tasks being worked on
  • Review — Tasks waiting for approval
  • Done — Completed tasks

To create a new group, click "+ Add Group" at the end of the group headers.

Step 4: Create Your First Task

  1. 1.Click "+ Add Task" in any group
  2. 2.Enter a title for the task
  3. 3.Press Enter to create

Add Task Details

Click on a task card to open the details modal:

  • Add a description with formatting
  • Set status and priority
  • Set start and due dates
  • Assign to team members (supports multiple assignees)
  • Assign to a sprint
  • Add comments for discussion

Step 5: Invite Team Members

  1. 1.Go to SettingsMembers tab
  2. 2.Click "Invite Member"
  3. 3.Enter their email address
  4. 4.Select their role (Admin, Member, or Viewer)
  5. 5.Click "Send Invitation"
